The W300D is an ADSL2+ Modem, Wireless-N Router, four-port LAN Switch and Firewall all in one. Through a DSL it allows for a downstream rate of up to 24Mbps and an upstream rate of up to 1.4Mbps.Utilizing advanced MIMO technology in the IEEE 802.11n (draft 2.0) standard, the W300D can provide a 300Mbps transmission rate within its wireless network. The W300D also provides WDS (Wireless Distribution System), enabling the bridging of other wireless routers and extending the wireless coverage.
The W300D is easy to manage with features such as: WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), port and MAC address filters, the ability to disable SSID broadcast, and local/remote Web management interfaces. In addition, the flexibility of detachable antennas allows for an upgrade to extend wireless range, and a splitter with filtering is provided to allow telephone and internet connections from the same phone jack.
